廿一世紀 洞察黑洞 Black Holes in the 21st Century
New black hole discoveries in the 21st Century have been found by a Hong Kong native. He will first give an introduction to spacetime and its connection to the black hole. He will review the various theorems previously discovered about black holes in the Hawking era and then introduce a new theorem discovered by him - the Horizon Mass Theorem. He will discuss the powerful gravitational energy and other irreducible energies associated with different black holes.
The most important black hole in astrophysics is the rotating black hole also known as the Kerr black hole. New properties of these black holes have been found by him, including rotational inertia, extended structure and the possible removal of singularity. These results will deepen our understanding of what a black hole really is. Black holes are now real astrophysical bodies, and their secrets are to be explored.
